A High School Parent’s Guide to Student Success in College & Beyond Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 (7PM – 9PM)

Held at Islander Middle School, 7447 84th Avenue SE, Mercer Island.

Presented by Denny Meadows.

"How a student goes to college is much more important than where he or she goes." Does this phrase apply to your student? And what does it really mean? One thing is increasingly clear: it's no longer enough to choose the "best" ranked school and then assume that everything will work out fine.

Join us for an informative presentation – followed by Q&A – to learn about key skills and attitudes for teens in a rapidly changing world. We'll address several questions, like "How can we choose a college to improve post-college outcomes?" and "What are the important action-steps now, during high school?"

JOIN US and check our calendar for other Life After High School programs in October:

  • Tuesday, October 2, 7pm - How to Find the Right Colleges for You (Collegewise) - at the library

  • Tuesday, October 9, 7pm - The Scoop on Financial Aid – Don't Pay Full Price (Peg Keough) - at the library

  • Wednesday, October 17, 7pm - Resilience & Compassion: Building Strength for the Road Ahead (Anne Browning, Director, UW Resilience Lab) - at Islander Middle School / 7447 84th Avenue SE, Mercer Island
